CAPSHER, founded in 1994 by Kay Capps and Kevin Sherry, is a software consulting firm that connects people, process, and technology. Kay and Kevin started CAPSHER because they wanted to create a fun, remarkable environment for people to work and develop great software.
The company began with two people, specializing in applications for the petroleum industry. Back then, the startup operated out of a converted bedroom.
In the late 90's, CAPSHER saw record growth and began hiring students from Texas A&M to work part-time in their Bryan-based office. CAPSHER remained in the Bryan location until 2008, when they built their first building at the current location in College Station. Now with a team of 50 developers, project managers, and leaders, Kay and Kevin work well together in keeping each other and the team balanced to produce excellent products. A building expansion to double the number of offices is scheduled to complete in 2012.
From the company's start with clientele in the petroleum industry, CAPSHER built a strong foundation of software development and a culture of creating solutions. Now, the team serves clients by building great products for a variety of industries.

We're proud to be in the United States. All of our products and services are rendered by our in house team. Most of our employees hold bachelors' or advanced degrees from Texas A&M University. We operate during normal business hours, ensuring our clients have direct and convenient access to our team. Moonlighting is not required to work with us.
